Yoga Nidra for Deep Sleep – A Spiritual Gem

Yoga Nidra, often called yogic sleep, is an ancient yogic practice that guides the body and mind into  deep rest . Rooted in timeless Eastern spiritual wisdom, it allows profound relaxation without effort, restoring the nervous system and calming the mind.

Later investigated by Harvard psychologist and is also known as Benson’s relaxation response. This state relates it to the relaxation response, showing how deep rest counteracts stress and supports healing.

Yet Yoga Nidra goes beyond technique—it is conscious surrender where one is not actively doing anything by body and mind but just listening to the inner or outer sound and surrounding yourself to go into deep sleep or relaxation. original ancient technique takes about 45 min.- 1 hour but one can practice it for short 10-15 minutes twice day to get relax instantly.
